A certification clinic for all level 1-3 officials on Sunday, September 27 starting at 9 am in the meeting room at Tamitik Arena. The written exam will be administered at around 12:15 pm. Online registration for the clinic is now available.

An on-ice session at KIR will follow from 2 pm to 3:15 pm. All level 1 officials (ages 12-15 as of December 31, 2015) are required to attend the on-ice portion, so please bring skates, helmet and a whistle. Level 2 and 3 officials are encouraged to stay for the on-ice session as well.

As you have previously certified as an official, you won’t be required to do any online components prior to the clinic. That’s only for brand new officials with no previous experience. If you know of someone new that wants to become an official, by all means encourage them to do so but note that the online Hockey University course has to be done by new officials.

Please retain receipts from clinic registration. Fees will be reimbursed by KMHA at a later date. Officials who are not registered as a player or coach with a minor hockey team are required to pay the participant assessment fee, which will be included in the reimbursement.

Officials who are 18 years of age or older as of December 31, 2015 must have a valid Criminal Record Check completed within the past three years. Details available here.
